Exclusive Off Road Trail Ride
This serene, off-road trail follows around 5 hectares of newly planted woodland and a wildlife pond. The surrounding countryside boasts views of Straid Fishery and the Ballyboley Hills, where parts of ‘The Game of Thrones’ was filmed.
Total 1 ¼ hrs (45 mins on the saddle, ½ hr safety brief and familiarisation)
Suitable for novice riders and those who want a slower paced trek

North Forest Trail Ride (2hrs)
A beautiful trail on winding, undulating country roads, showing rural Northern Ireland at its best with outstanding views overlooking Carrickfergus and Belfast Lough. On clear days you can see Carrickfergus Castle, Kilroot Power Station and across the Lough to Bangor.
Total 2 hrs (1 ½ hrs on the saddle, ½ hr safety brief and familiarisation)
Suitable for competent to advanced riders, includes part riding on the road and cantering off road

North Forest Trail Ride (3hrs)
This Trail offers all of the above; warming up on Ballylagan’s exclusive off road trail then going deep into the North Forest Trail. A refreshment stop will be included.
